surface. The values given here serve as an example only. Please see the
type plate on your wheelchair for the exact information.

3.5. Basic setup

Before using it for the first time, adjust the wheelchair to suit your body
size. Adjusting the wheelchair allows long periods of fatigueless driving
in a physiologically correct position. The basic setup of the wheelchair
is described in this section. You should carry out this work in collabora-
tion with the medical equipment retailer.

3.5.1. Mechanical legrests

Lower leg length
• The lower leg length can be adjusted.
• To do this loosen the two Allen screws (Fig. 3).
• Adjust to the required height.
• Re-tighten the screws.
For secure fixing, make sure that two screws are
always used!
Footplate angle
• The angle of the footplate can be adjusted.
• Loosen the screw fixing on the side of the footplate (Fig. 4).
• Adjust the footplate to the required angle.
• Re-tighten the screw.
3.5.2. Horizontally adjustable
legrests (optional)
Assemble, disassemble and swing them away as for the standard
legrests.
To adjust, loosen the star clamping screw, then adjust the legrest to the
required length and then re-tighten the star clamping screw.
