Mounting and Cabling
1.
Turn off or disconnect all equipment power sources.
2.
Mount the PowerCage 411 to a rack using the pre-installed rack ears or use the optional MBU mounting kit for under-desk
mounting (see figure 4).

NOTES:
•
For tabletop mounting, use the included rubber feet. Up to three units may be stacked together, one on top of the
other.
•
The optional UTM 100 mounting kit may also be used to mount up to 2 units, one under the other.

Replacing the Power Supply
1.
Use a screwdriver to rotate the left and right captive panel
screws to completely loosen the screws.
2.
Gently but firmly pull on the screws to loosen the power
supply from the backplane.
3.
Slide the power supply out of the enclosure.
4.
Orient the replacement power supply module to be
installed.
5.
Center the replacement power supply module with the
power supply opening.
6.
Gently slide the replacement power supply module into
the enclosure until the power supply meets resistance.
7.
Gently seat the replacement power supply in the
backplane.
8.
Use a screwdriver to tighten the left and right captive
panel screws to lock the replacement power supply in
place.
