2.1 Intended use
2.1.1

Structural changes to the lifting pins

Design and manufacturer's acceptance are based on the Product Safety Act (ProdSG).
No changes, additions or conversions may be made to the lifting pin without the prior
written consent of Erwin Halder KG.
In case of non-compliance, the lifting pins lose their EC conformity. With this, the
manufacturer of the lifting pins is outside of the warranty.
Immediately replace components that are not in problem-free condition.
Only use original spare parts / wear parts / accessories. These parts are specially
designed for the lifting pins. For parts purchased from third parties it cannot be
guaranteed that they have been designed and manufactured to meet the requirements on
stress and safety.
Parts and optional equipment not supplied by Erwin Halder KG are not approved for use
on the lifting pins.

Foreseeable misuse

Any use of the lifting pin beyond the intended use, and/or other use, can lead to serious
injuries.
Do not use the lifting pins if maintenance or inspection are lacking.
Never use the lifting pins without locking.
Do not use the lifting pins with constantly rotating loads.
Do not use the lifting pins to lift, hold or carry people.
Do not use unauthorised location holes.
Avoid jerky loads.
Overloading or misuse can lead to failure of the lifting equipment. The load can fall
down. Only use the lifting pins with the approved loads.
Do not operate the press button under load.
