Group 7 - Set Points
The Digistart D3 has low and high current flags to give early warning of abnormal operation.
No
Function
7A
Low Current Flag
7B
High Current Flag
The current flags can be configured to indicate an abnormal current level during operation, outside the normal operating level. The
flags can signal the situation to external equipment via one of the programmable outputs. The flags clear when the current returns
within the normal operating range by 10% of the programmed motor full load current.
No
Function
7C
Motor Temperature Flag
Sets the level at which the motor temperature flag operates, as a percentage of the motor's thermal capacity.
No
Function
7D
Mains Reference Voltage
Sets the nominal mains voltage for the keypad's monitoring functions. This is used to calculate motor kilowatts and kilovolt amperes
(kVA) but does not affect the Digistart D3's motor control or protection.
8.8.9
Group 8 - Analog I/O
The Digistart D3 has one analog output (terminals AO1, 0V).
If required, a second analog output and an analog input are available on the input/output expansion card.
No
Function
8A
Analog Input Trip
Selects the soft starter's response to the analog input signal. The soft starter can be configured to trip if the voltage measured at the
analog input falls below or rises above the level set in Pr 8C Analog Trip Point (as a percentage of the maximum value of Pr 8B
Analog Input Scale ).
No
Function
8B
Analog Input Scale
Selects the scale of the analog input.
No
Function
8C
Analog Trip Point
Sets the signal level at which an analog input trip will occur, as a percentage of the maximum signal on the input.
The analog input is only available if the input/output expansion card is installed.
NOTE
No
Function
8D
Analog Output A
Selects which information will be reported via the analog output.

Function
8E
Analog A Scale

No
Function
8F
Analog A Maximum Adjustment
8G
Analog A Minimum Adjustment
Calibrates the analog output to match the signal measured on an external current measuring device.

Current (% FLC), Motor Temp (%), Motor
kW (%), Motor kVA (%), Motor pf
Current as a percentage of motor full load current.
Motor temperature as a percentage of the motor service factor (calculated by
the soft starter's thermal model).
Motor kilowatts. 100% is motor FLC (Pr 1A ) multiplied by line voltage (reference
voltage parameter 7D ). Power factor is assumed to be 1.0.
Motor kilovolt amperes. 100% is motor FLC (Pr 1A ) multiplied by line voltage
(reference voltage parameter 7D ).
Motor power factor, measured by the soft starter.
