Once complete, the system proceeds to normal operation. If you experience excess steam from the tap, please recalibrate the system following the below steps.

    Home screen. 2 - Set Temperature Zip HydroTaps are designed to operate within 1° to 2° of set point for boiling water and 6 - 10°C (43 - 50°F) for chilled water. Boiling water units are self-calibrating to 98°C (208°F) (recommended setting).
  • Page 20 Section G 3 - Filter Zip HydroTap G4 allows the user to adjust and edit water filter life and usage. The water filter life may be set as a function of liters (gallons) used, or in months from the last filter change.

    Maintenance Air inlet filter The Zip HydroTap air filter screen is located on the side of the Command Center. The air filter screen needs to be inspected at least every three months, cleaned and replaced if damaged. Slide screen forward Rinse off with water.

    Gas bottle change (sparkling models) Commercial models: the 2640g (5lb) bottles are refillable. Do not discard your empty 2640g (5lb) bottle. Return the empty bottle to your nearest Zip service center for exchange. Residential models: the 1200g (1.5lb) gas bottle supplied is disposable and cannot be refilled.
