Place your hands on either side of the card cage assembly handle, one hand near

the rear of the assembly and the other over the fan protectors (refer to Figure 4).
Secure the assembly by using both hands to press down firmly until you hear it
click into place.
Verify that the latch is seated correctly, and that the card cage assembly is flush

with the top rear edge of the server chassis.
If the assembly rides higher than the server chassis, then it is not seated

correctly.

Replacing the Top Cover

Be sure to replace the top cover. Do not operate the server without the top

cover in place.
Lower the top cover onto the server.

From the rear of the server, push the cover forward until it is firmly seated.

To secure the cover, turn the locking screw at the rear of the server clockwise

until the screw tightens.
