 The cooker hood must be installed in accordance with the
installation instructions detailed in this manual.
 Installation must be carried out by a qualified person.
 Pay attention to the sharp edges inside the extractor hood,
especially during installation and cleaning.
 The minimum distances between the lowest part of the hood
and the kitchen used must be respected:
Gas hobs: 75 cm
o
o Electric hobs : 65 cm
o Coal or oil kitchens: 75 cm
 Ensure that ducts do not have bends as this will reduce the
efficiency of your appliance.
 Always cover the pan when you are cooking in a gas cooker.
 When the appliance is working, it is removing air from the
room. Please, make sure that the room has adequate
ventilation.
 If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacture or qualified person. Never replace it by yourself.
 There must be adequate ventilation of the room when the
hood is working together with a gas appliance, for example a
gas hob.
 Clean your appliance periodically following the instructions
detailed in this manual.
 For safety reasons, use only the same mounting size or
mounting screws recommended in this manual.
 When the extractor hood and the appliances supplied with
energy other than electricity are working simultaneously, the
negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10-5
bar)
 This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above
and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised or instructed about the use of the device in a safe
way and understand the risks involved. Children should not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
should not be done by children unless they are over 8 years
