NOTE: If necessary to reach the immunity test
level, the distance between the transmitter
antenna and COMPACT PIEZO P2K can be
reduced to 1 m. The test distance of 1 m is
allowed by IEC 61000-4-3.

TROUBLESHOOTING

8.1 Quick Troubleshooting
Problem
The appliance is on but is
not working. The red LED is
steadily lit (APC automatic
protection circuit tripped).
The appliance is on but is not
working. The red LED flashes
(APC automatic protection
circuit tripped).
The appliance is on but is not
working. The red and green
LED flash alternately.
During operation
whistling noise can be heard
coming from the
handpiece.
Possible Cause
Handpiece not connected to
the cord
Broken wire in the cord
Faulty handpiece
Tuning circuit malfunction
The insert is not present or
not correctly tightened on

The insert is worn, damaged,

WARNING: Portable RF communication
equipment (including peripheral devices such
as antenna cables and external antennas)
must not be used closer than 30 cm to any
part of the COMPACT PIEZO P2K device,
including the cables specified by the
manufacturer. Otherwise, there may be
a performance degradation of these
appliances.

Unscrew and correctly re-
screw the insert
Replace the insert
