4.4 Water Connection
The COMPACT PIEZO P2K requires a water
supply line to cool the handpiece and inserts
during the operating cycle.
The device is sold with a connecting cable
between the electronic module and handpiece
equipped with a polyurethane tube with 1.3
mm internal diameter (see Figure 13 on page
24).
The water line of the dental unit must satisfy
the following requirements:
• Guarantee a supply pressure between:
1.00 ÷ 6.00 bar;
• Be fitted with a solenoid valve, 24 V
2.5W maximum, to control the opening
of the irrigation circuit;
• Downstream of the pressure regulator

Connect the water circuit in a stable manner in
compliance with standard ISO 60601, seeking
to isolate the water circuit as much as possible
from the live electrical parts.
CAUTION: The water hose of the scaler
handpiece cord must be directly connected
to the dental unit cold water circuit.
