In order to ensure optimum wavelength sweeping through varying ambient
conditions, a lambda zeroing function is available. See
Parameters
on page 31 for details. This helps to avoid missing points at
the beginning or end of sweeps, due to an offset starting point, and helps
evenly lubricate the full mechanical range.
The current configuration, i.e. attached hardware as well as current
parameters like wavelength range, can be saved and loaded from the File
menu by selecting Save Configuration and Load Configuration. A saved
configuration file (*.agconfig) can also be started from the Windows
Explorer and will launch the appropriate engine if it's not running.
