3.3.6 Set Temperature Compensation

The temperature compensation is often used when the actual temperature of a target is slightly
different from its surface temperature taken by the device.
Steps
1. Check Enable.
2. Select a mode from Environment Temperature Mode to set the environment temperature.

3.4 Temperature Screening

The function can accurately screen out targets with alarming temperature in the scene, and
1. Select Frame.
2. Click Draw Area.
3. Click and drag the mouse on the live image to frame the black
body with a blue rectangle.
Note
● The rectangle should be TWICE the size of the black body, and
there should be no high-temperature object in the area.
● DO NOT move the black body out of the rectangle.
The device measures the environment temperature automatically.
Take the environment temperature and enter the value in
Environment Temperature.
The device calculates compensation value automatically. If the
detected target temperature is still inaccurate, you can switch to
Manual mode.
Enter a compensation value in Manual Calibration. 0 means that the
detected target surface temperature equals to the inner
temperature.
