Steps
1. Go toConfiguration → Local and select Display Temperature Info. as Yes.
2. Go toConfiguration → Temperature Measurement → Basic Settings.
3. Check Enable Temperature Measurement.
4. Click Save.
5. Go to live view interface and select thermal channel, click
interface to show the real temperature.
What to do next
● If there is a black body in the detection scene, go to Configuration → Temperature Screening →
Temperature Screening Configuration to set the black body parameters to increase
temperature measurement accuracy. See Set Black Body Correction for instructions.
● If the actual temperature of a target is slightly different from its surface temperature taken by
the device, you can add temperature compensation value to the measurement to show a more
accurate temperature. Go to Configuration → Temperature Screening → Temperature
Screening Configuration to Set Temperature Compensation.

3.3.5 Set Black Body Correction

If there is a black body in the detection scene, you can set the black body correction increase
temperature accuracy.
Steps
1. Check Enable Black Body Correction.
2. Set the black body parameters.
Emissivity
Refer to Common Material Emissivity Reference to set the emissivity of black body.
Distance
The distance between the black body and the device.
Temperature
Enter the temperature of the black body.
3. Select a position marking mode from Set Black Body Position, and mark the black body position
in the scene.
Note
The Frame Mode may not be supported under certain VCA type or by certain device models.
Point
1. Select Point.
2. Click Draw Area.
3. Click on the black body in the live image to show a blue dot.
