General operation

Switching on the device

By pressing the

After switching on for the first time, you can start the setup wizard. Here you can set the date and time either via DAB/
FM, Internet or no update (manual). An attempt is then made to establish a connection to a WiFi network. To do this, select the
corresponding WiFi network and, if necessary, enter the WiFI password with the remote control.
Switching off the device
By pressing the

Operating the device with the remote control
With the infrared remote control, you can operate the most important functions of the device from the comfort of your chair. When
operating the device with the remote control, please observe the following points:

Point the remote control at the front of the device.

There must be a of sight between transmitter and receiver.

If the range of the remote control decreases, the batteries should be replaced with new ones.
The maximum range is approximately 5 metres within an area in front of the device.

Setting the volume

Adjust the volume with the VOL+/VOL- (12/2) buttons on the remote control or the knob on the device.

Muting the sound

You can turn off the sound by pressing the MUTE (8) button on the remote control.
This mode is signalled in the status bar by a corresponding icon.
Pressing the MUTE button again turns the sound back on.
