    Ensure that the device is held firmly and securely by using the wrist strap as intended. 4.1.4 Switching the instrument on and off Switching the instrument on: Hold down the button for about 1 second. Wait until the instrument displays that it is ready to measure. Switching the device off: Hold down the button for about 3 seconds.
