INSTALLATION - QUANTUM MOUNTING BLOCK

For the Quantum TRU-Comfort Back Support on a TRU-Balance Seating System, using the Quantum Mounting Block.

If the head support hardware stem is inserted in the mounting block (B), turn the knob
(A) counterclockwise to release it and set aside.
2 Attach the mounting plate (C) to the back support (G) with the socket head screws (E)
and tighten using the 4mm hex key.

Insert the hardware stem into the mounting block (B) and turn the knob (A) clockwise
to secure.
IMPORTANT! Make sure that at least ½" of the hardware stem is completely through the bottom of mounting block (B)
at all times. See the warning in the "Important Safety Information" section in this manual.
Note: See SUPPORT PAD installation, positioning and adjustment instructions in this manual to make final adjustments.
Alternate option when using the Quantum Mounting Block. Instructions should be used with the images above.
Note: If the mounting plate (C) is already mounted to the back support, remove the screws (E) (shown above) prior to step 1.

Remove the phillips head screws (D) on the mounting plate (C) using a phillips
head screwdriver.
2 Align the mounting block (B) and the alternate countersunk holes of the mounting
plate (C) and attach with the flat head screws (D). Make sure that the screw heads
are flush with the mounting plate (C) when tightened.
