Installation instructions - Bicycle rack
Edition 01
– Rotate the three tensioning levers clockwise through 10 to
12 turns -arrow a-.
– Exert pressure -arrow c- to close the tensioning lever.
Caution
If you do not exert sufficient pressure when closing the
tensioning lever, the bicycle rack will not be securely seat-
ed and may work loose!
◆ If the tensioning lever in question cannot be closed, rotate it
anticlockwise through one turn -arrow b- and then exert
pressure to close it -arrow c-.
◆ If the tensioning lever in question can be closed without ex-
erting pressure, rotate it clockwise through one turn
-arrow a- and then exert pressure to close it -arrow c-.
– Use the key -4- provided to close the lock on the tensioning
lever -9-.
Load — room to open boot lid
Caution
To prevent damage to the vehicle, make sure that you open
the boot lid carefully when fitting add-on components
(such as a roof box, bicycle rack etc.) and when transport-
ing long items. For vehicles featuring automatic boot lid
operation, it is recommended that you adjust the opening

– The bicycle rack can be removed by following the above
steps in reverse order.

Installing the bicycle on the bicycle
rack
WARNING
Remove child seats and loose objects such as drinks bot-
tles and saddle bags before loading.
Do not cover bicycles with tarpaulins, protective covers
or any other covers.
