MAINTAINING THE SPARK PLUG
1. Turn the start lever to the OFF position to
turn off the product.
2. Remove the spark plug cap. Remove the
spark plug using a spark plug wrench or
socket.
3. Inspect the spark plug for damage,
and clean it with a wire brush before
reinstalling.
4. Seat the spark plug in position and thread
it in by hand to prevent cross-threading.
Use a wrench to tighten the spark plug to
26 Nm torque. Cover the spark plug with
the spark plug cap.
NOTE: If the insulator is cracked or
chipped, replace the spark plug. The
recommended spark plug models are
TORCH F7RTC or NGK BPR7ES.
