Step 2: Running the test script

Your Document Server Admin comes with sample scripts you can use to make sure all of
your Document Servers and MFPs are communicating with each other.

Click the New Profile icon
which steps you through the following process.

Select the Primary Document Server and then click the Script icon.

Select the sample script check box.

Select the MFP you want to send the script to.

Accept the default scan settings.

Go to the MFP. Press Fax/Scan or Profile until you see the name of the profile. The
profile name is the same as the script name.

Place your document facedown on the scanner bed, and then press Go.

Press Stop when you are finished scanning.

The MFP prints a confirmation sheet with a list of actions performed and the status of
your profile.
