10.5 CUTTING INFORMATION (FILE)

Once the program is connected to the Multicode in the JMAKeyPro program, we have access to see the technical
information for cutting the key. If there is no link with the Multicode machine, this information is not accessible. We
can differentiate the files into two families, according to the attaching area and the cutting tool to be used, therefore,
we can denominate the following divisions:
a) Toothed key files Keys cut with the horizontal tool and where we have the MP1 jaw with four sides, the pos-
sibility of changing to other jaws, personalization of special key profiles.
b) Point or channel key files Keys cut with vertical tool, the jaw of this area has interchangeable clamps according
to the model of key, the software will notify us of the clamp needed at all times. The machine will have to be
adjusted each time the clamps are changed.

10.5.1 TOOTHED KEY FILES

When searching for a key (AZBE) or a biting code (e.g. 15000J) we can see its mechanical data by clicking on top of
the file (in this case 507).
When clicking on the file we enter the file screen where we can see the technical data of the key and it will tell us
how to attach the key, (side of the jaw, limit...).
