7.- WASTE ELIMINATION

Waste is understood to be any substance or object originating from human activities or natural cycles, abandoned or
designed to be abandoned.

7.1 PACKAGING

• Because the packaging of the MULTICODE machine is made from cardboard, it can be recycled as packaging.
• As waste, it is classified as solid urban waste and therefore can only be deposited in special containers for
cardboard.
• The moulds that protect the machine inside the cardboard box, are made from polymer also classified as solid
urban waste and therefore, can only be eliminated in normal installations for the elimination of solid waste.

7.2 SWARF

• The residues originating from the copying of key are classified as special waste, but are included in the group
of solid urban waste, for example like a metal washing pad.
• This waste is eliminated according to the classification of the laws in force in the EU, and should be taken to
the special waste elimination companies.

7.3 MACHINE

• Before scrapping the machine, it should me put out of service, cutting the power supply and separating the
pieces of plastic from the pieces of metal.
• After doing this, all the waste can be eliminated, according to the laws in force in the country where the ma-
chine is used.

8.- SERVICE

Alejandro Altuna has a technical service for all clients of the MULTICODE machine.
To assure complete safety for the operator and the machine, any work not indicated in this manual, should be carried
out only by the manufacturer or technical service. If there is any doubt about handling the machine, consult the ad-
dress indicated at the end of this manual.
