The Bed Duplicator is intended for temporary bed duplication. Permanent
duplication of bed data is not recommended because it can cause data
corruption. For information about using the Bed Duplicator application to

The Bed Duplicator application is used to copy patient/bed data from one ApexPro
tower to another. This is useful for maintaining patient monitoring when a tower
must be shut down for service or maintenance.
The Bed Duplicator does not copy Full Disclosure (FD) data. FD is a function of the
CIC Pro central station. Patient FD data is maintained at the CIC Pro central station,
not at the ApexPro tower.

The Bed Duplicator can be run from any ApexPro Telemetry Server on the
network, and can copy/duplicate beds to/from any available ApexPro
Telemetry Server or ApexPro tower.
It may be useful to run the Bed Duplicator from an ApexPro Telemetry
Server that will not be taken offline because the Bed Duplicator application
displays network bed admit/discharge activity in the Log Messages
window. Log Messages information is purged if the Bed Duplicator
application is shut down.
2. Start the Windows Explorer application from the ApexPro Telemetry Server
desktop in the VNC session window.
3. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the C:\Program Files\Marquette\PTS\
X.X (X = software version) directory.
4. Double-click the BedDuplicator.exe file.
5. Select the IP address of the tower containing beds needing duplication. Click
OK.
