EQUIPMENT FAILURE — Do not ignore indicated system
failures. The ApexPro Telemetry Server system can fail if
conditions causing system alarms are not rectified quickly.
The ApexPro Telemetry Server is equipped with system status indicators that
activate whenever specific system-critical conditions are met. Status indicator
system failure alarms call attention to critical system conditions which require
immediate attention.
ApexPro Telemetry Server status indicators include:
LED indicators
Audible alarms
LED indicators, audible alarms and software alert messages often occur together,
with the LED indicators identifying the specific area or component requiring service
attention. Refer to the following table:

Redundant power
supply failure.

Cooling fan

Poor cooling air circulation inside the ApexPro
Telemetry Server/accumulated dust preventing proper
cooling. Examine cooling air clearances around
ApexPro Telemetry Server/clean unit according to
"Cleaning"
on page 4-7.
NOTE: May occur in conjunction with cooling fan
failure.
Failing cooling fan must be replaced. See
on page 6-36.
