Installation and Operation of: iNTERSECT
II. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
A.

HARDWARE INSTALLATION

a. Location: The iNTERSECT must be located so the following conditions are met:
i. Selected mouting surface should be a vertical surface that is not warmer than 100°F
(38°C) and in an ambient temperature not warmer than 100°F (38°C).
ii. Distance from an outlet maximum of 5 ft.
iii. Distance from internet access to iNTERSECT is maximum of 50ft.
iv. Distance from iNTERSECT to Kitchen Minder is maximum of 25ft.
b. Hand-pull the packing tape off the cardboard box to open.
c. Remove the iNTERSECT and mounting bracket from the box.
d. Drill 4 mounting holes into selected mounting surface
(Use mounting bracket as template).
e. Attach mounting bracket to mounting surface using appropriate anchor screws.
f. Attach iNTERSECT assembly to mounting bracket by gently lowering mounting studs into
the bracket slots. Fig A-1
g. Open access panel by removing panel screws using a #2 Philips head to gain access to the
power cord connection point. Fig A-2
h. Attach power cord to intersect unit. Fig A-3
i. Plug the power cable into an open 120-240 VAC outlet.
j. Using power Switch turn on the iNTERSECT – Blue light must be lit solid.
