I. GENERAL INFORMATION DELIVERY AND INSPECTION Duke Manufacturing Co. does everything within its power to ensure you receive your Duke iNTERSECT in good condition. All components of the kit have been carefully inspected before they were packaged for shipping. The material used and manner in which the kit is packed has successfully passed the carrier’s transit test. -

NETWORK REQUIREMENTS Duke iNTERSECT requires an internet connection to maintain software updates to iNTERSECT, new PHU product recipe information, and firmware updates to PHU’s when applicable. Please note that whether you have in-house IT representation or utilize an outside source, the following network modifications will need to be applied. -

“ETHERNET PHU” label on the iNTERSECT. (ports 6, 7, 8) Fig C-1. NOTE: Power to each of the PHU’s should be placed in the OFF position. The iNTERSECT supports up to 3 Ethernet PHU’s as shipped. An additional Ethernet switch will allow for expanded capacity for more PHU’s. -

Ethernet Cables NOTE: iNTERSECT supports up to 2 Kitchen Minder COM channels for up to 6 PHU’s, or a maximum of 48 wells. Connection to Kitchen Minder a. Install up to 2 Cat5e cables from master PHU units to iNTERSECT unit. - Page 9 A green notification will display indicating if successful. Note: If multiple PHU’s are being configured, there may not be enough ports to connect all of the PHU’s into the iNTERSECT and the laptop. A PHU can be disconnected from the iNTERSECT once it has been discover without interfering with the port mapping.
