d. First, select "My Restaurant"
from the menu on the left
of the page.
e. Then, select "PHU Mapping"
from the menu on the left
of the page.
Note: The "PHUs" column should currently be empty.
In the following steps, PHU's should be powered on one at a time for correct
identification.
f. Power on the first PHU to be discovered. Verify
connectivity as defined in Operations Manual for
Ethernet PHU.
g. The PHU should then self-populate in the "PHUs"
column of the web browser.
NOTE: Continue to refresh the web browser page until you see
the PHU display in the left-hand side PHU frame.
i. For example:
The populated PHU should match one of the
PHU's configured in PC Minder.
h. To map the Ethernet IP address to a COM
port, drag-and-drop the PHU to the
corresponding Warmer location that
matches what was configured in PC Minder.
i. To perform the drag-and-drop, click-and-
hold the PHU name, for example:
"PHU1 2x4" in the figure below, and move
the mouse over the warmer name then
release. A rectangle should appear next to
the mouse cursor when it is moved into a
drop location. Release mouse button once
location is selected. See Figure C-2 below
j. Repeat sections "e" through "I" for each PHU
by powering them on one at a time until the
web browser accurately reflects the PC
Minder configuration.
IMPORTANT: When completed with PHU mapping, hit the "SAVE CONFIGURATION" button at the top of the
screen. A green notification will display indicating if successful.
Note: If multiple PHU's are being configured, there may not be enough ports to connect all of the PHU's into the iNTERSECT and
the laptop. A PHU can be disconnected from the iNTERSECT once it has been discover without interfering with the port mapping.
If a state is reached where additional ports are needed, disconnect a previously configured PHU to make a port available for the
additional PHU until the laptop can be removed.
