  • Page 7 Introduction The CMM kiosk is Renishaw's offering of a workstation housing that is suitable for the more harsh situations such as the shop floor environments. The CMM kiosk offers IP54 protection to the CMM's monitor, PC and printer. It has been ergonomically designed for ease of interaction with the CMM, and offers mounting points for a variety of optional extras such as MCU and part identification scanners.

    Kiosk workstation user's guide www.renishaw.com Customer options The kiosk can be configured in several different ways to suit the user. These include mounting options for the MCU and front or side-mounted keyboard tray. Lockable drawers can be installed into the lower section of the kiosk.

    Kiosk workstation maintenance Lifting NOTE: Lifting must only be carried out by the kiosk workstation installer. Please contact the kiosk workstation installer. Periodic checks It is advised to periodically check the kiosk and cable management system for damage or wear to key parts. Any visible damage or wear should be reported to the system maintenance engineer.

    The fans have mesh filters. Renishaw recommends that these are changed every 12 months at a minimum. If the kiosk is located in an environment with high levels of particulates in the air, the filters should be changed at more regular intervals.
