Operator privileges
Users in the Operators groups can control print jobs from job management applications.
Operator privileges include:
Printing jobs
Printing, exporting, and viewing the Job Log
Deleting, viewing, and modifying other users' print jobs
Printing black-and-white or color jobs
Clearing the PS-17 of all job data
Calibrating the PS-17 (if allowed by the administrator)
Standard privileges
Users in the Standard group have standard access to Fiery features.
Standard privileges include:
Printing jobs
Printing, exporting, and viewing the Job Log
Printing black-and-white or color jobs
Guest privileges
Users do not need a password to log on as a Guest from job management applications.
Guests can view the status of active jobs, but cannot make changes to jobs or to the PS-17 state. Users added to the
Guests group can print if you select print privileges in Configure > User Accounts > Guests.

Configuring security features

The PS-17 includes the following security features:
Security Profiles
User Data Encryption
Only the specified IP addresses are allowed to access the PS-17 (IP addresses are filtered)
Only the minimum required ports are open on the PS-17
PostScript security
Configuring the PS-17 for your network and print environment
