7 Removal

WARNING!
Risk of burns. The thermostatic valve
and the pipework may get very hot
during operation. Wear safety gloves
or inactivate the heating system
when removing the thermostat!
1. Using a suitable tool (e.g. small screw-
driver), pull out the front cover disc
(illust. 1) through the opening at the
handwheel.
2. Using the setting key (item no. 1011497),
turn the thermostat anticlockwise until
stop ("5") through the front bore (illust.
2).
3. Turn the raised marking in the connec-
tion area of the handwheel until it is in
line with the groove of the fixing ring.

4. In this position, loosen the safety screw
by turning the 2 mm spanner anticlock-
wise in the lateral bore in the connection
area of the handwheel. Remove the ther-
mostat from the valve.

8 Disposal

!
ATTENTION!
To protect the sensor liquid from
escaping, the thermostat must not
be destroyed when disposed of.
The thermostat is hazardous waste!
Dismounted/removed thermostats can be
returned to the manufacturer Oventrop.
They will be disposed of professionally.

9 Warranty

Oventrops warranty conditions valid at the
time of supply are applicable.
