MAINTENANCE
REMEDY
Reset after heater elements cool down.
Should trouble persist, check whether motor
starter contacts are functioning properly.
Check voltage. Should voltage check low,
consult power company.
Check connections from transducer. If adequate,
replace transducer.
Check connections from transducer. If adequate,
replace transducer.
Close switch (pull).
Check cooling water supply (i.e., closed valves).
Reset after heater elements cool down. Should
trouble persist, check whether motor starter con-
tacts are functioning properly.
Check voltage. Should voltage check low, consult
power company.
First, check starter wiring. If discharge pressure
above 10 psig (0.7 bar) was evident, then sensor
is at fault -check connections from transducer. If
adequate, replace transducer.
Check oil level.
Replace filter.
Improve local ventilation (i.e., remote intake of
process and/or cooling air).
Check/correct fluid level.
Check/replace thermal valve.
Clean cooler fins.
Check cooling water supply (i.e., closed valves).
Increase water flow, lower water temperature.
Clean tubes and/or shell - if tube plugging persists,
provide cleaner water.
Check connections from RTD. If adequate,
replace RTD.
