Problem
Valve outputs both hot and
cold water, but not mixed
Loss of pressure as water is
made warmer or cooler
Water drips constantly from
spout or handshower
Temperature is erratic
Handle turns freely but
doesn't turn water on or off

Possible cause
Supplies are reversed
Filters clogged
Ceramic plates in stop unit
damaged
Thermostatic cartridge dirty
or faulty
Handle not installed cor-
rectly or handle screw not
tightened.

Solution
Disconnect supplies from
valve, reconnect to correct
inlets
Clean the filters
Replace cartridge.
Clean the filters. If cleaning
doesn't help, replace the
thermostatic cartridge
Reinstall handle. Make sure
that the screw engages the
slot. Tighten the handle
screw.
