IMPORTANT! To control an inverter via DRM the inverter has to have a Fronius
– Demand Re-
DRM Interface (item number 4,240,005).

Energy companies or utility companies can prescribe feed-in limits for an invert-
namic power re-
er (e.g., max. 70% of the kWp or max. 5 kW).
duction
Dynamic power reduction takes account of self-consumption in the household
before the power of an inverter is reduced:
-
-
-
"No limit" – the inverter converts all available PV energy and feeds it into the
public grid.
"Limit for the entire system" – The entire photovoltaic system is limited to a
fixed power limit. A value must be set for the permissible total feed-in power.
"Limit per phase (not for single-phase devices)" - Each individual phase is meas-
ured. If the permissible feed-in limit is exceeded on one phase, the total power of
the inverter is reduced until the value on the affected phase is permissible again
(see example below). This setting is only necessary if required by national stand-
ards and regulations. A value must be set for the permissible total feed-in power
for each phase.
"Limit per phase" is limited to 20 inverters. If the limit is exceeded, the function
of the power limitation is no longer given.

An individual limit can be set.
A meter for determining self-consumption per S0 can be connected directly
to the inverter.
A Fronius Smart Meter can be connected to the Datamanager at the D-/D+
connections for Modbus data.
