Positioning Your Gel; Select The Appropriate Filter - Major Science SmartView Pro 1100 Instruction Manual

Place the gel onto the center of the UV Transilluminator.
Make sure you use the appropriate filter, the default type is optical EtBr filter.
For different applications, please contact Major Science or your regional
distributor for suitable filters.
Note:
For use with UV light as activation source, optical filters should be used.
For use with blue light as activation source, amber filter should be used.
