CONFIGURE ACTIONS FOR FUNCTION KEYS

Each of the function keys can be programmed to perform a user-assigned function. This
is done by associating a function key with either a predefined command or your own
custom string. See the "
strings.
Each function key has an associated label which shows in the display when active. The
default labels are shown in the table below. To program the function key labels, see "
String ID" on page 245
The following table shows the list of predefined commands and available strings.

Not configured action.
If a key must be kept enabled but
isn't required in normal mode , this
function can be selected to keep it

Backlight CMD
Toggle backlight on/off.
Clear CMD
Clears the screen.
Backspace CMD
Same as Backspace key.
If pressed once, it recalls the last
code sent out.
Recall
If pressed twice, resends the last
code.
Show Date/Time
Display the internal date, time.
Scroll Up
Scroll up display content by row.
Scroll Down
Scroll down display content by row.
Dot char
Display dot [.] char.
Dynamic Quantity
Dynamic Quantity Code function.
Switch between numeric and
