DC connection
There are several restrictions regarding the dimensioning of the strings connected to the unit:
• Each individual string must not exceed 15 Adc.
• There are four groups of six strings each (1-6, 7-12, 13-18, 19-24). The sum of the currents of the string
in each group must never exceed 60 Adc.
CAUTION
The strings connected to the unit's connectors must be electrically independent of each other. That is, there
must not be any strings with a current higher than that permitted separated into several connectors, as the
current distribution is never guaranteed.
The cabling used for the connection must have dimensions in line with current regulations in the country of
installation and according to the type of installation, connectors, and maximum current and voltage of the PV array.
The unit includes fuses in the PV+ inputs. If it is necessary to mount fuses on the PV inputs- these can be
mounted externally using standard references for the Sunclix family by Phoenix Contact.
