WARNING! Use of the support leg
(S) is forbidden in the Group 2/3
configuration. Make sure that the
support leg is not resting against
the floor of the vehicle and has
been shortened to its minimum
length (Fig. 8.4). In this case the in-
dicator for the support leg (T) will
remain red.
WARNING! Make sure that the ab-
dominal portion of the vehicle seat
belt rests correctly on the waist of the
child.
WARNING! Check that the child car
seat is fitted correctly.
WARNING! Always check that the
seat belt is distributed evenly at all
points and that it is not twisted.
WARNING! Check that the diagonal
seat belt fits correctly across your child's
shoulder and does not press on their
neck, adjust the headrest if needed.
WARNING! Check that the car seat-
belt retractor is behind the backrest of
the car seat (Fig. 14.5).
WARNING! If you do not intend to re-
move the car seat from the vehicle, and
it is not fastened with the Isofix connec-
tors, reconnect the vehicle seat belt to
its buckle so that it restrains the car seat
even when no child is present; this will
avoid danger in the event of an acci-
dent or the sudden braking of the car.
12. ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF
THE BELTS AND THE HEADREST
The height of the headrest and belts
can be adjusted in one move, pulling
up on the headrest adjustment ring
(B) (Fig. 15).
To increase the height of the headrest
release the safety belts by pressing but-
ton (K) and, at the same time, hold the
two car seat harnesses under the shoul-
der straps and pull them towards you.
To lower the headrest, lift the ring (B)
and push the headrest down.
13. ADJUSTING THE INCLINATION
To adjust the inclination, pull the lever
located under the seat (M) towards
you (Fig. 16).

WARNING! The only reclining posi-
tion permitted for Group 0+/1 (0-18
kg) in the rear-facing configuration is
position number 1.
WARNING! The only reclining posi-
tion permitted for Group 3 (22-36 kg)
in the forward-facing configuration is
position number 4.
When using the Group 1 configura-
tion, the car seat can be installed in
either the forward-facing or rear-fac-
