The AJ65VBTCU-68DAVN must be handled after setting of the remote device station
version according to the configuration of the used CC-Link system.
There are the following remote device stations.
Ver. 1 remote device station (Ver. 1 compatible slave station)
Ver. 2 remote device station (Ver. 2 compatible slave station)
Set the remote device station version with the "mode select switch" of the
AJ65VBTCU-68DAVN. Refer to Section 4.3 for details of the mode select switch.
In addition, "mode setting" and "station information (station type)" in the network
parameters of GX Developer must be set simultaneously. For details, refer to (2) in this
section and Chapter 5 Programming.
(1) Basic concept
Use the following as a guideline in setting the remote device station version and
mode select switch.
Mode Select Switch Setting
Ver. 1 remote device station
(Ver. 1 compatible slave station)
Number of occupied stations: 3 stations
Ver. 2 remote device station
(Ver. 2 compatible slave station)
Number of occupied stations: 1 station
POINT
In the case of the system where the maximum number of connected stations of the
master station, including the AJ65VBTCU-68DAVN that occupies 3 stations, does
not exceed 64 stations, set and use the ver. 1 remote device station (ver. 1
compatible slave station). It is not particularly necessary to set and use the ver. 2
remote device station (ver. 2 compatible slave station).
Guideline for Selection
In the case of the system where the maximum number
of connected stations of the master station, including
the AJ65VBTCU-68DAVN that occupies 3 stations,
does not exceed 64 stations.
In the case of the system where the maximum number
of connected stations of the master station, including
the AJ65VBTCU-68DAVN that occupies 3 stations,
exceeds 64 stations.
(However, configure a system where the maximum
number of connected stations of the master station,
including the AJ65VBTCU-68DAVN that occupies 1
station, will not exceed 64 stations.)
