ROUBLESHOOTING WITHOUT ERROR CODE
Symptom
Pan does not heat up on
glass-top.
Digital display is OFF
(dark).
Pan does not heat up
and no pan symbol is on.
(Not applicable to
griddles or braising
pans.)
Poor heating, LED ring is
ON

Possible cause
No power supply.
Unit is turned off.
Defective unit.
Pan is too small.
Pan is not placed in the
center of the hob; pan is
not detected by sensor.

Action
Check incoming power supply (Example, power
cable plugged into the wall socket). Check kitch-
en main fuse box.
Turn control knob to an ON-position.
Only if possible and safe, disconnect the appli-
ance from the power supply. Contact an author-
ized service agency. (1)
Use a suitable GN 1/1 pan.
Move the pan to the center of the hob.
Select only induction-ready cookware.
Only if possible and safe, disconnect the appli-
ance from the power supply. Contact an author-
ized service agency. (1)
Verify that air vents are not obstructed. Ensure
the fresh air filter is clean.
Select various induction-ready cookware for
induction cooking. Then compare the results.
Verify that no hot air is taken in by the fan. Re-
duce the ambient temperature. The intake air
temperature must be lower than 40°C [104°F].
Check incoming power supply (Example, power
cable plugged into the wall socket). Check kitch-
en main fuse box.
Check Additional Setting "P1".
Only if possible and safe, disconnect the appli-
ance from the power supply. Contact an author-
ized service agency. (1)
