6.8 Stack Cables
This section describes the structure and technical specifications of the stack cables.
6.8.1 Introduction
An S7700 can use QSFP high-speed cables or QSFP+ optical fibers as stack cables, which
interconnect the interfaces on the VSTSA cards. The S7706 and S7712 switches are connected
through the stack cables to form a logical switch, implementing packet forwarding.
