Hardware Description
S7703
On the S7703, system power supplies are located in slots PWR1 to PWR2. The S7703 supports
both DC and AC power supplies. PWR1 is in area A, and PWR2 is in area B. Area A and area
B work in backup mode, as shown in

The following describes the AC and DC power supply configurations:

Only one PoE power supply can be installed on an S7703. The PoE power supplies include:

NOTE
The 2200 W AC power supply provides only PoE power, but does not provide power for the entire device.
When the input voltage for an S7706 is 110 V, confirm with Huawei technical personnel to determine the
power supply configuration.

Configuration of S7703 DC power supplies
DC power supplies in 1+1 backup mode (1600 W)
Two power supplies are installed in active area A and standby area B and work in backup
mode, as shown in

– 220 V AC power supplies in 1+1 backup mode (800 W)
This configuration provides a maximum of 800 W power. Two AC power supplies are
installed in active area A and standby area B, as shown in
– 110 V AC power supplies in 1+1 backup mode (400 W)
Two 110 V AC power supplies provide 400 W power. The total power consumption of
the S7703 is less than 400 W; therefore, the S7703 can use two 110 V AC power supplies
in backup mode, as shown in
800 W PoE power supplies. When 220 V power source is used, an 800 W power supply
provides a maximum of 800 W power. When 110 V power source is used, an 800 W power
supply provides a maximum of 400 W power.
2200 W PoE power supplies. When 220 V power source is used, a 2200 W power supply
provides a maximum of 2200 W power. When 110 V power source is used, a 2200 W power
supply provides a maximum of 1100 W power.
