Tighten the jam nut when the desire pressure is set and then replace the copper gasket and acorn nut. Then recheck the
final pressure setting by pressing the MOTOR On/Off button once and pressurising the system.

De-activate the LOCAL mode by displaying the 'LOCAL' menu and toggling the setting to 'OFF'. Save the setting by
pressing the MENU button once. Save the setting and return to the 'AVDEL' display by pressing and holding the MENU
button for 2 seconds.
3.6 PUMP OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS – MODELS 76506-02000 & 76507-02000
Connect the tool to the pump and prepare the unit for use as described in section 3.2.
Pump On-Off Switch positions:
•
ON – Pump controlled by trigger on placing tool. Pump starts when trigger is pressed.
•
OFF – Trigger disabled. Pump will not start when trigger is pressed.
Motor Off Button:
•
Button pressed – Motor turns OFF immediately.

Tool Operation:
To begin using the tool shift the pump ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
Tool Trigger:
Press and hold the tool trigger button.

Button pressed – Motor turns ON. Tool piston ADVANCES for as long as button is held down.

Button released – Tool piston RETRACTS and returns to fully forward position. Motor continues running for up to 20
seconds after the trigger is released.
Please note: If the trigger is not released, the placing tool piston will continue move towards the rear of the tool until it
reaches the end of its stroke. The pressure in the pull side will then increase until a preset 'Relief Valve Pressure' value is
achieved. The tool and pump unit will hold in this maximum pressure state until the trigger is released.
IMPORTANT – THE TRIGGER SHOULD BE RELEASED AS SOON AS THE FASTENER INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.
CONTINUALLY PRESSING THE TRIGGER AND HOLDING THE TOOL AT THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE AND FULLY
ADVANCED STATE, WILL PUT UNDUE STRESS ON THE TOOL. THIS MAY REDUCE THE TOOL LIFE AND SHOULD BE
AVOIDED.
Motor Off Button:
Button pressed - Motor turns OFF immediately. The tool piston will remain in the position achieved at the point when the
motor is turned off.
Note: Immediate motor shut-off will also occur if the pump on-off switch is moved to OFF while the pump is running.
