• If an EGR valve failure is detected when the engine is started, the failure indicator
light will flash in a pattern of thirteen (one long flash followed by 3 short flashes) as
shown in (Figure 25)

When two or more faults occur at the same time, the failure indicator light will
indicate all the failures one by one in the ascending order of the number of flashes.
