8.5.7. Checking the settings of the level controllers
The level controller is set correctly at the factory.
For the switching points set in the factory, please
see the relevant circuit diagram or system de-
scription.
Check the following:
• If the switching points are set correctly:
• At the OFF switching point, no air is sucked in
through the intake pipe. Otherwise, set the OFF
switching point higher.
• When pumping begins, the shut-off balls in the
solids separation tank do not strike against the
housing. Otherwise, set the ON switching point
higher.
• The sensors function error-free.
8.6. Releasing the system for operation
After maintenance, the system may only be
released for use in normal mode again after
a comprehensive test run has been performed.
During the test run the following must be
checked:
• No connections leak
• The pumps operate alternately
• The switching points of the level controller
are set correctly
• Alarm messages (e.g. for excess backup)
are shown correctly
