Product description Cooling Motors of this type are cooled by the pumped fluid circulating around it. The heat is carried out- ward directly via the motor casing and the stator casing to the pumped liquid. Type designation The type code provides information about the design of the machine. Installation below the bell with a cable clip. For heavy, large-diameter cables, it is advisable to attach a cable clip every 2-3m. If several cables are used, each must be fastened separately. Installation During assembly, make sure the pipes carry their own weight and that Horizontal installation in a basin/ tank they and the foundations are strong enough. Startup Startup The "Startup" chapter contains all the important instructions for the operating personnel for start- ing up and operating the machine safely. Motor protection should be set to the rated current when fully loaded. At partial load, we recom- mend that motor protection is set 5% above the measured current at the operating point. The maximum start-up time at reduced voltage (approx. 70%) is 3 seconds. WILO SE 3.0...

Maintenance Maintenance The machine and the entire system must be inspected and maintained at regular intervals. The time limit for maintenance is set by the manufacturer and applies to the general conditions of use. The manufacturer should be consulted if the system is to be used with corrosive and/or abrasive pumped liquids, as the time limit between inspections may need to be reduced.

Shutdown Shutdown This chapter provides an overview of the various ways to shut down the machine.
