Coolant level, checking
Check the coolant level when the check screen for
low coolant level pops up on the I-ECU, see page
A
45 . Aside from this, check the coolant level every
10 hours.

Risk of scalding and severe burns to unprotected
skin.
High-pressurised hot coolant may rush out of
expansion tank and cause severe burns. Before

removing the expansion tank pressure cap:
Shut down the engine.
Allow the engine to cool
Turn the pressure cap slowly to release any
pressure.
1 Position the machine on even, firm and level
ground.
2 Open the rear engine hood.
3 Check the coolant level on expansion tank (B).
If the coolant level is lower than "MIN" marking
on the tank, top up the coolant through radiator
cap (A) between "MIN" and "MAX" level.
