The Link Driver for 6400 Computer
For the appropriate radio type, use the link driver listed to the right, in the
following table. The NET.CFG file should include the information listed to the
right of the link driver:
Radio
Proxim PCMCIA 2.4 GHz
Batch / Mobile Applications
Information that has been gathered during the use of your 6400 hand-held
computer is sent to a centrally located host computer. This could be daily or
several times during the day.
Terminal Emulation
This provides a means to emulate another computer. Keyboard overlays identify
keys on the 6400 Computer as keys for the emulation. Refer to the 6400 User's
Guide for samples of some of these overlays.
IrDA Communications
Downloading parameters, program data, or inventory updating is done through
the IrDA port with your hand-held computer connected into a dock, or through
the connector on the optional Communication Adapter endcap.
