Charging Your Battery Pack

The battery pack can be charged in your 6400 computer, or in a charger. When
you remove fully charged batteries from the charger, it is best to place it directly
into a 6400 computer.

Troubleshooting

Battery Charger LED and Error Codes
When your battery pack is placed in either a multipack or a single pack charger,
the LEDs on the charger indicate the battery pack charging status. This
indicates the charge capacity remaining in the battery.
The battery pack charger cups and docs have a tri-color LED. A constant red
LED indicates the battery is charging. A constant green LED indicates the
battery pack is fully charged.
If one of the following conditions exist, take the action listed:

The following chart shows a list of serious error codes and possible solutions. If
the battery cannot be successfully charged, one or more LEDs flash. By
observing the sequence of colors, use the table below (and the Possible Solutions
on page 4-31) to determine the error code:
