Due to the patient's safety the bed is provided with a set of seat belts used during the
verticalization. The safety belts are attached to the holders placed along the bearing
surface by velcro closure. Before verticalization, a patient should always be
properly fixed using safety belts, preferably in the area: breast (rib cage), hips,
thighs and shins, as follows:
Secure the belt to one side of the bed by the lock of velcro
Pull the belt over the patient – the upholstered side towards the patient's
body
Pull the belt through the lugs on the other side of the bed before the lock
is attached
Tighten the belt sufficiently and secure it with velcro above the
upholstered part of the belt
Check the belt for sufficient strength!
Repeat the same procedure for the other parts of the body
Before verticalization, the patient must always be properly fixed using safety belts, preferably in the area: breast
(rough basket), flanks, thighs and shavings!
Once the belt is fastened, always make sure that it is properly attached to the bed structure and that it cannot be
released spontaneously!
Fixing belts must not be located in the area of the patient's
head and neck!
Before fixing the patient to the bed, IT IS A MUST TO LOCK
on the patient controller the function of adjusting the back and
thigh base positions and the auto contour function. When the
patient is fixed using belts, it is PROHIBITED to position the
