► Avoid contact with abrasive substances (e.g. sand, dust).
► Do not expose the product to temperatures below -10 °C (14 °F) or
above +60 °C (140 °F) (e.g. sauna, excessive sunlight, drying on a
radiator).
5 Preparation for use
5.1 Processing
Required materials: Alignment adapter no. 4 (743Y56=4), lamination
dummy with screw (17B206=*), 2 lamination bars 16 mm (e.g.  17LS3=16-T)

The plaster model was produced specifically for the patient.
1) Position the lamination dummy on the plaster positive, on the medial side
at the compromise pivot point according to Nietert.
2) Secure the lamination bars on the lamination dummy using the screws
and check the alignment on the model.
3) Mark the insertion range on the lamination bar.
4) Loosen the screws of the lamination bars and adapt them with bending
irons.
5) Secure the lamination bars on the lamination dummy using the screws.
6) Repeat the steps until the desired result is obtained.
7) Insert the shoulder screw through the lamination dummy and affix it to
the alignment adapter.
8) Laminate the orthosis to fit the patient.
9) Cut free and remove the lamination dummy.
5.2 Assembly
The medial support is pre-assembled on delivery.
