7.c. Note that there is an automatic setting within the SETUP screen that allows you to select
which boom is turned off once your speed drops below a certain value. This feature can be
helpful to operators who prefer to drive more slowly in the crease and behind the goal line,
and to have the boom shutoff process be automatic.
8. Turn the Upper and Lower spray boom switches off
8.a. Turn the FastICE spray booms off once the ice resurfacing session is complete.
9. Drain Ice Making Water Tank
9.a. Drain the Ice Making Water tank at the end of the ice resurfacing session. We recommend
that the tank be filled only to what will be used during the resurfacing session to guarantee
that only hot water is used to make ice.
