Select Activate ballot.
If your jurisdiction has Verity AutoBallot, after
activating the ballot, you can use the barcode
reader attached to the Verity Touch Writer to scan
barcode labels produced by your electronic
pollbook. When using AutoBallot, you will scan the
barcode, skipping steps 5-6 of this section.

Choose the correct precinct from the list and
select OK.
(Closed Primary Elections only) After choosing the

precinct, select the Party, if applicable.

Confirm the selections you have made, and then
select Yes, activate this ballot.
If the precinct and/or party are incorrect, select No,
•
cancel to return to the main menu.
To issue a provisional access code, select Mark as
•
provisional; for more information on provisional
voting, see page 50.
